The Lifestyle Society Review – Scam or Legit?

The Lifestyle Society claims to be your one way ticket to financial freedom. They claim that anyone can make easy money online with this system but can you really trust what you hear? Or is The Lifestyle Society a scam just like the many other programs out there that make similar promises?

I recently came across this program and decided to take a look into it to potentially save some people from falling victims. In this short review I’ll be going over a few things that everyone should know about it before they sign up… things that they don’t tell you.

Hey There Visitor: Before You Leave Be Sure to Check Out My No. 1 Recommendation for Making Money Online. I Make Over $6,000/mo Doing This.

  • Price: $47/mo + upsells
  • Recommended?: No; more on this

Before I get into what this program actually is and what its all about, I first think its important for me to touch on the man behind the program…. David Wood.

David Wood is pretty well known in the online marketing world because he has been around for a while. The stories you may or may not have heard about him are probably true. He has made a ton of money online and has a heck of a lot of experience.

He is the founder of Empower Network, which is one of the biggest online business MLM’s ever. It was founded in 2011 and was absolutely massive in 2013. Since then many of its top affiliates have left and went on to form other massive online business programs such as Digital Altitude’s ASPIRE and others.

Since the fall of Epower Network David Sharp seemed to have somewhat lost his mind. He was all over the place for a while and there is a lot you can read about online on him. He basically had a meltdown and was acting crazy in every sense of the word. One video that you shows this is a Facebook Live video he recorded in early 2017 which you can watch a bit of below…

Anyways. Since early 2017 he seems to have gotten his act together again and is back at it with the online marketing and with his brainchild (Empower Network). He is promoting it once again and trying to build it back up to how it once was.

And this brings us to The Lifestyle Society, which you will see ties into Empower Network.

The Lifestyle Society… What Is It?

Really the “The Lifestyle Society” is just a new membership that was created within the Empower Network. The Empower Network has a lot of bad stigma associated with its name and my guess is that this new name was made for marketing reasons. But basically what it is, is just a way to get you and other people to buy into Empower Network.

If you are on one of the sales pages for The Lifestyle Society you can go up to the URL box and see that it is actually hosted on

What You Get?

The Lifestyle Society is an online business platform. If you buy in to become a member they provide a blogging system along with lots of training packages to make money online. This place is designed for people looking to get started in online business. And technically you could create an online business in any area of interest using what they provide, however… this place is overwhelmingly focused on getting members to go out and create their online business around EN.

Everything is focused on getting you to promote EN and make money by doing so. Its one of those programs that you join and then you go out and say “hey join this program and you can make a lot of money getting other people to join this program” type of deals. So basically what will happen is you will be provided with tools and training on promoting The Lifestyle Society, which is part of EN, to other people.

On the sales page for The Lifestyle Society that I came across here is what they listed that you will get when you buy in…

As you can see they provide you with pre-made emails, sales videos, capture pages, order forms, training, etc. They don’t tell you from the start but you will soon find out that this is all designed to get you to promote it to other people.

The Cost

The cost of making money with this is something that everyone needs to be aware of. Many people get involved in this without knowing what they are getting themselves into.

The $47/mo that it costs to join The Lifestyle Society is just the beginning. With EN you only can promote and get paid for products that you own. This is a “licensing rights” business model and many other similar big mlm’s like ASPIRE a MOBE use this.

This forces you to buy other products that they sell if you want any chance of making money. So you will be pushed to buy other products in order to succeed.

Can You Really Make As Much As They Say?

Ok, there are probably a bunch of different promo videos out there for The Lifestyle Society. But the one that I watched had a headline that read “Do You Want To Make Your First $3,000 Online This Month?”, which obviously implies that you can make $3,000 in your first month if you decide to join.

Then in the actual video David Wood interviews a couple that are making a lot more than that. The claimed to be making around $5k a month and only doing 2-3 hours of work per day.

But is this realistic? Can you actually expect to make this kind of money by buying into The Lifestyle Society and getting the tools and training that are provided?

The answer is NO, you cannot. And the statistics prove this.

You see, most mlm businesses like Empower Network are required to have an Income Disclosure on their websites. And if you go to EN’s site you can view this disclosure which I have taken a screenshot of.

As you can see the large majority of EN affiliates (which accounts for pretty much all members since they push you to go out and promote EN to other people) barely make anything. Over 90% make less than $1,000 per month. This chart was the newest that I could find and was undated up through June30, 2017.

Most affiliates fail with this business. Most of them make less than $100/month and I’m willing to bet that most are spending more than that.

Final Thoughts & Do I Recommend This?

So in summary, basically The Lifestyle Society is just another attempt made by David Wood to keep Empower Network up and running.

Buying a membership here will give you a lot of good training and tools. You will get access to some very good training for some top guys that are making a lot of money online along with some very professional tools. But in order to have a good chance of making money you will have to spend more month on other products.

Due to the fact that you have to be willing to spend a decent amount of money (which they don’t tell you) and that I consider this business model somewhat unethical, I will not be recommending The Lifestyle Society to anyone. You can make money by putting what you are provided with to the test but there are better alternatives.

One thing that I will recommend if you are interested in making money online is to take a look at how I do so.

I actually make a living working online for myself and what I do it is more realistic for the average person to make money with. You can read a post I wrote about it by clicking the link below. In this post I go over what it is that I do, how it all works, and how others can get started doing the same.
