Is Viral Money Method a Scam? – Read This Before Buying
Matthew Neer claims that his Viral Money Method system can make anyone easy money online but is this really true? With all the online scams out there you can never really be too careful when it comes to a program claiming to be able to tap into a “secret” traffic source.
So is Viral Money Method a scam or is this something you should get excited about? I wouldn’t call it a scam but I will say that it is not as great as it may seem. In this review I’ll be going over what you should know.
Viral Money Method Review
Viral Money Method is the creation of Matthew Neer. He has been involved in online marketing for a while and is pretty successful. I have reviewed some of his program in the past, for example Niche Moolah. Usually they are focused on making easy money online, which isn’t usually the case.
The Viral Money Method is a software that allows you to create websites with the focus of viral videos. It is a re-creation of Viral Money Magnet which I’m assuming was a huge bust considering how he re-branded it.
The concept here is that you put a bunch of viral videos on your site and get tons of traffic with no effort because the traffic comes from other people sharing them like crazy. It has nothing to do with SEO, paid adverting or any of that.
What The Software Does
Basically what this does is sets you up with a website where you can easily copy and paste viral videos from around the web. It also makes it easy for you to place ads, insert affiliate links, etc.
You are in control of what videos you want to put on your site and what types of ads you want displayed the software just makes it a little easier.
How You Make Money
Matthew explains how Youtube, Pinterest, and many other sites make all their money from advertising. Big companies pay them tons of money to advertise and that is how they get paid.
He then goes on to tell you that this is how you will be making all your money with your viral website. You will be able to earn from banner ads that will be displayed on your site. So when people come to your site to watch the viral videos you have, they will see the ads and you get paid for that.
The ads that are on your site can be whatever you want them to be. You can promote certain products if you want to do so as an affiliate. If you noticed from the promo video Matt showed his affiliate account at Warrior Plus. The money he made in that account would have came from promoting digital products, probably mostly make money online products.
What You Have to Do
After putting a bunch of viral videos on your site they are not just automatically going to get traffic. These videos have millions of views so you know that people like them but no one is going to just magically find your video on your site.
You will first have to drive traffic to your videos which means posting on social media and other methods. When the people come to your site they will then be able to share the videos on social media themselves and thus the viral process begins…. hopefully.
So there is work involved. You first have to start sending traffic there for the process to begin. And I will say this is harder than it seems to be.
Are These Sites Really Worth Much?
At one point you are told on the sales page that these sites can become worth so much money that you can sell them for thousands of dollars.
He then goes to Flippa, which is a site where people can buy and sell websites, and shows you a bunch of sites that are selling for tons of money.
The problem here is that these sites have nothing to do with this Viral Money Method. There are viral sites selling on this marketplace but there is no proof they have anything to do with this.
At one point in the video he points out a site that sold for $25,000 and claims it is a popular viral site when it is not. It is a blog type site which is totally different.
Why This Isn’t as Good as It Seems
The problem with getting tons of viral traffic is that it does not convert well at all. Its what you can call cheap traffic…. very very cheap.
You see the real money comes from people coming to your site, clicking on an ad and buying something or signing up for an email list. While you can make some money just by getting people to view ads you will not make much at all with that. And unfortunately this is what most people will be doing.
People are coming to your site to watch funny videos, not to join a program or buy a product. Most people will watch the video and leave… that’s it.
You can get all the traffic in the world but if its not quality traffic its not worth much. Its better to get less traffic that is targeted than more that is not.
Final Thoughts & What I Suggest
I just don’t see as much value in this as the sales video leads you to believe. The first sales video I watched actually stated above it that you could make over $4k a day with this software and I really do not see that ever happening. In fact I don’t see anything even close to that being realistic.
Also there is one last thing I want to bring your attention to…. and that is the disclaimer at the bottom of the sales page. It is always important to check out the disclaimer because this is where you will get the truth. They can tell you all the fairy-tales they want in the sales videos but the disclaimer is what you need to pay attention to.
As you can see it literally says that “the typical purchaser does not make any money using this system”. It doesn’t get any clearer than that and I think I’ll end this review on this note.
When it comes to making money online there are a lot more scams out there than legit opportunities that I can recommend. However…. gun to my head, what is the best program out there? This is it. I have been a member since 2015 and it took me from nothing at all to making a living online.
