Is Copy My Websites a Scam? A Waste of Money
Copy My Websites claims to be an easy way to make $1,000/day online. But the truth is that its not, not even close. Is Copy My Websites a scam? Heck yes its a scam. You will absolutely NOT make money with this system and in this review I will prove it to you.
I am guessing you watched the sales video by Jake for Copy My Websites and you are suspicious at how easy this all sounded. And good for you. As a role of thumb, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is, meaning it is untrue. And this is one of those things. Its fake, its a scam, and all the information you heard in the sales video are lies and very misleading.
Copy My Websites Review
- Name: Copy My Websites
- Website: copymywebsites.com
- Creator: “Jake”
- Price: $37
- Recommended?: Absolutely NOT
To start out this review I will be showing you why you can absolutely NOT trust this place. And this is important. Not only will it prove to you that this is a scam, but it will also show you what you can look for when another program like this crosses your path. Then I’ll be going over what scam program is actually about, and what you get when you buy it.
A Program of Lies
You might be wondering how this can possibly be a scam when Jake showed you proof of the other people that have used his system and went on to make tons of money. He showed you video testimonials at the beginning and then he even showed you some pictures of people that use his system along with screenshots of their Paypal accounts.
Unfortunately this is all fake.
I wish I could track down where those video testimonials came from. I have seen them dozens of times in other scams, but I just can’t remember where. They are all very general and make no mention of Copy My Websites in particular, which means they can be re-used on any “make money online” scams.
What I can prove to you is that the screenshots of “Jay” and “Lin” are fake. Below is the man that he said is Jay and that he has already given $500 for using his system for 3 days…
After doing a simple reverse Google image search for the picture of “Jay” I was able to find that this isn’t “Jay”.
This image is a stock photo that comes from the site GettyImages. Anyone can buy this photo and use it online.
And the same goes with “Lin”. Its a fake.
Take a Look at The Disclosure
One of the ways that scams can get away with being scams… is that they can have an honest disclosure.
They can tell you all the lies and misleading information that they want on their sales page, as long as they have a disclosure somewhere they can do it legally.
Most people don’t read the disclosure, but I do… and this is important. Take a look at Copy My Website’s disclosure, which was at the bottom of the sales page…
It states that “The typical purchaser does not make any money using this system.”
So pretty much what it is saying is that… “hey…. everything I just said in the sales video about this being super easy and you being able to make automated money by doing nothing is all a lie”
This is how scams can get away with this crap. Its horrible, but unfortunately its how things work.
What You Get With This Program
I guess you could say that its not a complete scam. Because its not like you are spending money and not getting anything in return. You will get some things, but its definitely not worth it.
The main thing that you get is of course the websites that Jake told you about. These are about the simplest websites you will ever find. They are extremely basic and not worth the price.
I was able to find a Youtube instructional video for this Copy My Websites scam and this is what you are looking at (sorry for the bad quality… its Youtube)…
What you are looking at are some simple list building sites. They are to be used to get people to sign up to your email list, so you can then bombard them with emails trying to sell things.
What will you be selling?
Copy My Websites has a small amount of training, in which they will teach you to sign up for ClickBank, which is a digital product ecommerce store. You will be able to promote any product on their and make commissions doing so.
You definitely do NOT need training for this. Its free to sign up and takes about a minute.
You Aren’t Going To Make Money!
The disclosure I went over tells the truth. The truth is that they only give you a small part of what you need to make money online.
The website they give you will never make any money… they will never even be seen because they don’t teach you how to get website traffic, which you absolutely NEED.
Final Thoughts & My Recommendation
Obviously I am not going to be recommending this program. Its full of lies and absolutely horrible. You will not make money with it.
What I will recommend to you however, is Wealthy Affiliate.
Wealthy Affiliate is an online business platform that provides training, tools, support, and other resources for people to make money online in affiliate marketing. And affiliate marketing, by the way, is when you earn commissions just by promoting products online. This is what Copy My Websites was trying to get you to do just it will never work out like they teach you.
At Wealthy Affiliate you will learn how to create a website, drive traffic to that site, and ultimately make money promoting other people’s stuff online. You learn all the important steps that need to be taken to make money, nothing is left out.
It is a great place for beginners to start out and it is where I started out. There is easy to follow step by step training. And possibly the best part of it all is that they have a free membership where you can get started for free and test drive the system. I have already written a review that you can read by clicking the link below if you want to know more…
