Is Brand Institute a Scam? Here Is My Review
- Name: Brand Institute
- Website: brandinstitute.com
- Cost: Free to join
- Rating: 7.5/10 (Great for medical professionals looking to earn some money; for the average Joe its nothing great)
Brand Institute is different from your average survey site. They specialize in medical surveys and pay out a good chunk of money for those who are licensed in the medical field. So if you are a medical professional this is the survey panel for you.
They also offer the normal surveys for the average Joe, but of course you aren’t going to get paid near as much for completing those.
Now let me get to the main question to be answered in this Brand Institute review…
Is Brand Institute a Scam?
Absolutely not. They are legit. Of course you are going to find negative reviews on them, but I challenge you to find a survey site where you will not find negative reviews. You won’t be able to.
They perform important market research for your everyday consumer companies, like Pepsi, Charmin, Dove, Sony, and more. And then on the health field side of things they perform research for many new-coming health products for the FDA, World Health Organization, Health Canada, and so on.
Brand Institute has been around for a while and continues to do a good job. They are completely legit and a great opportunity for medical professionals.
How Much Do They Pay?
For the normal online surveys they aren’t anything special. You can expect to earn a couple bucks for a 15 – 30 minute survey. For the average Joe they are nothing to go crazy over.
However, if you are a medical professional then your opinion is very valuable to them. And because of this they are willing to pay much more to get it. The completion of a medical survey can bring you anywhere from $5 to $30 !!! Thats a good bit of money!
Even if you would earn just $5, which is on the lower end, its still a decent amount of money to get from a 15 – 30 minute survey.
The VIP Program
If you decide to stick around with Brand Institute you will be rewarded. After 6 months you are able to apply for their VIP Program. Your acceptance is not guaranteed, but you should still try if you can.
If you are a VIP member you get access to surveys before anyone else. But the best reason for becoming VIP in my opinion is that you now have access to their referral program. Now you can refer others and get paid for surveys that they complete. If you are able to bring in a lot of referrals you can make a decent amount of money like this.
Complaints About Brand Institute
Like I mentioned earlier, you are never going to find a paid survey site that doesn’t have complaints. They are unavoidable it seems.
As expected, the top complaints seem to be due to not getting enough surveys and not qualifying for surveys.
This is because Brand Institute is looking for small and targeted groups of individuals who can best answer their surveys. Being a medical professional of course won’t qualify you for all the medical field surveys. They only select people who have knowledge in the particular field that the survey is based on.
Not being able to take enough surveys is bad for the survey taker, but its good for the companies that Brand Institute is conducting research for because it will be more targeted and more accurate.
Should You Join Brand Institute?
It depends. If you are a medical professional that wants to earn some extra money on the side, then I would say yes. This is the best survey panel I have found that provides high paying medical surveys for free.
But if you are just an average Joe looking to take their surveys I would say probably not. I would suggest Pinecone Research instead.
